Relaunch of Zeelander 7 with Humphree Interceptors

Dutch shipyard Zeelander launched Zeelander 7, a voluptuous yacht with a timeless exterior finish and impeccable interiors.

As flagship, Zeelander 7 displays a high, flared bow that slowly gives way to the deeply inclined transom through a long S-shaped cutting line; The low profile of the shed is dominated by a strip of glass sculpted in three dimensions. With design input from Cor D. Rover, the yacht is the epitome of elegant style.

Zeelander has optimized the generous space of the aft deck with a solarium that can be converted into a sofa and a pleasant bar area that uses the countertop next to the retractable aft window. Along with the sunroof in the lounge, the entire main deck can be opened to function as an indoor-outdoor area, or split and enclosed in less clement climates.

“By relaunching the Zeelander 7, we are making a bold statement: Zeelander builds only one design in three different sizes. The golden thread that runs through all our yachts is the same rich, curved aesthetic, sculptural grace and sensual finish. This will never change and that’s why our yachts have become icons.” Sietse Koopmans, founder of Zeelander.

At a cruising speed of 26 knots, the range still exceeds 600 miles, making a dinner in Sicily or lunch in the Bahamas a reality. For best comfort at  speed, the yacht is equipped with intuitively controlled Humphree Interceptors.
