Humphree AB (“Humphree,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users (“user” or “you”) of our web portal (“the Portal”). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information of users of the Portal in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The users are employees of Humphree’s customers (“OEM Customer”).

What Personal Information We Collect and What Legal Ground do We Base the Processing on

We process a user’s personal data for the following purposes and based on the following legal basis:

  • For Identification and Communication: When a user is invited to the Portal by an OEM Customer administrator or a Humphree employee, we collect the user’s contact information, such as the user ID, user’s name and email address. Furthermore, we will store any information contained in the user’s communication with us as well as logs that will grant the user access to modifying and adding data. This information is necessary to identify the user as a representative of said OEM Customer, for the user to access and use the Portal and for the performance of the contract with the OEM Customer, including management of purchases, or for our legitimate interest of efficient communication with the user as a representative of the OEM Customer.
  • To fulfil our obligations to the OEM Customer: Humphree will process a user’s personal data, such as contact information, user ID and communication, to manage customer relationship the OEM Customer and to provide our products and services, tracing orders etc. The processing is necessary in order to fulfil our obligations according to the agreement with the OEM Customer.
  • To market Humphree’s services and products: The user’s contact information will be used to send information about Humphree’s products and services available on the Portal. This processing is based on our legitimate interest of being able to market our products and services to our active customers. However, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing, at any time, and we will cease immediately.
  • For the fulfilment of our legal obligations: Humphree is obligated to follow Swedish law. A user’s data may be processed to the extent necessary for Humphree to fulfil our legal obligations, for example the Swedish Accounting Act.
  • To protect Humphree’s legitimate business interests and legal rights:Humphree will, where necessary, process and use a user’s data for the protection and enforcement of our legal rights, interests and the interests of others, for example in connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory and audit functions. The data processed and used includes for example any communication with Humphree representatives and invoices.
  • To develop and improve our service:We use technical data, and other aggregated and information to develop and improve our Portal, including for data analysis, statistical purposes and testing (such as evaluation of new features). The data processed is the user ID and user behavior, for example how the user navigates in and use the Portal. This processing is necessary to pursue legitimate interests of improving the Portal, its’ features and our service. 

 

How We Collect Personal Information

Personal information is collected when an OEM Customer administrator or a Humphree employee invites a user to the Portal.

 

How We Store and Protect Personal Information

Humphree processes and store your data within the EU/EEA. Personal information is stored and protected through our cloud platform, which is provided by Microsoft and hosted on servers located inside the European Union.

 

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

Humphree will keep the user’s personal data only as long as there is an active agreement with the OEM Customer. After completion of the contractual relationship, We save the personal data for as long as a legal claim may be alleged in connection with the agreement or to the extent necessary to save the personal data to comply with legal requirements. As a user you should be aware that some of your personal data may be processed because we have a legal obligation to fulfil, for example as a result of accounting obligations or other obligations that are incumbent on us by law. We regularly review our need to keep data, taking applicable legislation into account.

 

Sharing of Personal Information

Personal information is not shared with any third parties. It is only stored on our cloud servers hosted by Microsoft inside the European Union.

 

User Rights

Users have the right to request a transcript of the personal data processed by Humphree, as well as additional information on how the data has been collected, processed, shared, etc. Users further have the right to request rectification, deletion and erasure of their personal information. As a user you also have the right to lodge a complaint to the Supervisory Authority in the country you live or work in, if you believe that we have not complied with our obligations regarding your personal data.
