Van der Valk Shipyard builds fully custom motor yachts in aluminium and steel. With yachts ranging from 25 to 48 metres, the shipyard combines advanced engineering with a high level of craftsmanship to meet the specific requirements of every owner and project.
Technical Director Bram Kooltjes has been part of Van der Valk Shipyard for 24 years, contributing extensive experience and in-depth knowledge to the development and delivery of the shipyard’s custom-built yachts.

Van der Valk Shipyard has worked with Humphree for approximately 14 to 15 years. Over this time, the partnership has developed into a close and reliable collaboration, supporting projects from the initial sales phase through to final delivery.
One of the key advantages is Van der Valk’s direct access to Humphree’s sales engineers. This enables the shipyard to receive fast, technically accurate answers whenever questions arise—helping projects move forward efficiently and confidently.

Humphree’s interceptor systems and fin stabilizers work seamlessly together, providing an integrated solution for improved vessel performance, comfort and stability.
Humphree’s engineers support the project throughout commissioning, crew training and sea trials. Their involvement helps ensure that the systems are correctly installed, configured and understood by the crew before the yacht is delivered.
In addition, remote parameter adjustments make it possible to fine-tune the systems according to the performance requirements of each individual vessel. This flexibility is particularly valuable for fully custom yachts, where every project has its own unique characteristics and operational profile.
