No Configuration loaded in Control unit.
Restart system. Refresh larm list. Does the error persist?

Control unit Internal error.
- Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
- Then press the refresh button and see if the error persists.

Check External GPS and cable with connection to the control panel, the lightning system requires a separate GPS connected to the NMEA2000 port. Arrange for a GPS to be installed, or seek help at you nearest Humphree dealer.

The internal gyro sensor is sensitive to vibrations.
Try restarting system with the engine off. Check the installation of the control unit in the boat.
- It must not sit loose or be mounted on a vibrating thin wall.
- The sensor is also sensitive to temperature changes.
- Check that it is not mounted near anything that generates high heat such as an exhaust pipe. In that case, the control unit must be relocated. If you relocate the control unit, it is extremely important to follow the steps in the setup manual to choose orientation and recalibrate list/trim angles.

Problem with the installed license detected.
- Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
- Then go to SYSTEM SETUP/LICENSE and press update license
- Restart system
If the issue persists, there is no way to resolve this problem without help from your local Humphree dealer. They can arrange a new license for you to download. Find a complete list with contact information on the Humphree dealer network page
Uninitialized sensor orientation
- The LCU orientation must be selected to match the actual mounting position relative to the boat.
- Select correct orientation in SYSTEM SETUP/SENSOR SETUP/LCU ORIENTATION. Pictures in the menu will help you out.
Cannot start firmware.
- Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
- Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccurs.
If the issue persists, Try to update the system software.
If you can access the control panel
- Connect the system to a wi-fi network with CONNECTIONS>WIFI
- Go to ADVANCED>SOFTWARE UPDATE and look for updates.
- If there is a software available, download it and install it.
- Wait for update to complete.

Check the NMEA2000 drop cable connection to the control panel and the NMEA network. Ensure the network is powered on. Ensure you have a rudder signal on the system. If you do not have a rudder signal, turn off the coordinated turn function.
Does the error persist?
Go to: System Setup, then to Rudder
Check that a percentage value from the rudder sender is presented at the menu at the bottom.
If INPUT ERROR is presented, there is no unit transmitting rudder information on the NMEA2000 network. This may be the case if the equipment is turned off, disconnected or broken.
It can also be so that rudder hasn’t been calibrated, then you are prompted to follow the on screen guide.
Still having the same problem?
A rudder signal is a requirement for our Coordinated turn function to work. If you do not have a rudder signal, contact you nearest Humphree dealer to get it installed in your system to enjoy perfect turning performance.

Communication error on control bus.
- Check if the cables are damage or unconnected
- Check the cable from control panel to control unit
- If cable or cable connector is damaged, replace with new.

Go to: System Setup, then to Rudder
- Follow the rudder calibration guide.
- If you can’t see a rudder guide, and need to take each position manually, we strongly advise you to update the software of your system.
The supply voltage to the system is getting low.
If the supply voltage keeps dropping, the system will soon be unable to perform.
- Check generators, batteries and other charging devices.
System voltage is getting critically low. Interceptor system is not functional. Check the entire power supply chain to the interceptor system.
The control unit has detected low system voltage below 12V

The control unit has detected high system voltage above 32V
- Check Power Supply

Auto trim function is not setup propperly. Please read the setup manual and change settings.
- Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
- Then go to ADVANCED/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press Check for updates
- If the system finds a new software, first accept the download and then accept the installation

Servo calibration failed due to invalid stroke length or stuck mechanics. An overtensioned interceptor can be the cause if this issue, ensure you followed the torque recommendations in the installation manual. This issue also occurs when having to thin cables on extended power supply cables. Check the wiring diagram and recommendations in our installation manual and retry calibration.
Check if the cable is damaged or if the cable connector is unconnected on control unit to Interceptor. Plug in and out the interceptor. Swap places of the interceptor cables and see if it occurs on the same port, or if it's the interceptor cable connector that might be damaged.

Indicated Servo has stopped. The voltage to the Servo is below 11 Volts.
- Check the Power supply. Make sure that the system is above 11 Volts
- If the problem remains, Check the connector on control unit and cable to the indicated Interceptor

- Slow down to safe speed, or standstill
- Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
- Then press the refresh button and see if the error reoccures.

The Servo unit has stopped. The servo voltage to the servo unit motor is low. Make sure that the system voltage is above 11 Volts.

Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.
Servo unit has stopped. The motor current is high.

Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.

Servo unit has stopped. Position outside calibrated range detected.
Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.
- Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
- Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Moving parts stuck due to a mechanical problem. Check Interceptor visually for marine growth or objects obstructing the system, and restart the system.
Avoid overtensioning any bolts, check installation manual.

WARNING! The Servo unit is hot. Turn off the system and let cool down.
Restart will be possible when the motor has cooled down.

The servo motor is running at reduced maximum speed due to high temperature.
Check the connector on LCU and the cable from LCU to indicated Interceptor.
If there is cable damage, repair the cable or cable connector with a spare part kit.

Servo connected but some data could not be read correctly.
- Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
- Then go to ADVANCED/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press Check for updates
- If the system finds a new software, first accept the download and then accept the installation

Calibrate System
If possible, inspect the movement of the indicated interceptor audiovisually. The motor shall stop turning at the inner and outer position of the interceptor blade. Otherwise some mechanical part is damaged.

Servo calibration failed due to short stroke length
- Ensure the torque used to fastened the interceptor is correct, according to Installation Manual. Check that there are no objects obstructing the interceptor blade.
- Calibrate system and inspect the movement of the indicated interceptor.
- The interceptor blade should extend fully to 50 mm extension during the calibration
- Ensure blade is not mounted on an uneven transom

The LEDs are disabled due to high temperature. Restart will be possible when the lights has cooled down.
High friction is detected in the interceptor, which can mean that interceptor bolts are over-tensioned or something else is obstructing the blade movement. Ensure that bolts are tightened according to our installation manual, and retry calibration.
