External GPS connected to NMEA 2000:

Check External GPS and cable with connection to the control panel.

Rudder signal missing (0xD00287)

Check the NMEA2000 drop cable connection to the control panel and the NMEA network.

Still having the same problem?


  • Go to: System Setup, then to Rudder Signal
  • Check that a raw value from the rudder sender is presented at the menu line POSITION. It is indicated with the text “RAW” and a value in percent.
    • If INPUT ERROR is presented, there is no unit transmitting rudder information on the NMEA2000 network. This may be the case if the equipment is turned off, disconnected or broken.

Rudder calibration error (0xD00289)

  • Go to: System Setup, then to Rudder Signal
  • Calibrate PORT, CENTER and STARBORD position.

Auto Trim curve is missing (0xD00387)

Chosen auto trim curve is not set-up correctly. Please read the Auto Trim manual and change settings.

Control Bus error (0xD00288)

Communication error on control bus.

  • Check if the cables are damage or unconnected
  • Check the cable from Control panel to LCU
  • If cable or cable connector is damaged, replace with new.

Low Voltage Warning (0xF00315)

The supply voltage to the system is getting low.

If the supply voltage keep dropping soon the system will not be able to perform.

  • Check generators and other charging devices.

System voltage low (0xF00316)

The LCU has detected low system voltage below 12V

  • Check Power Supply

System voltage high (0xF00317)

The LCU has detected high system voltage above 32V

  • Check Power Supply

Configuration error (0xF00046)

No Configuration loaded in LCU.

Internal Error (0xF00049)

Control unit Internal error.

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Gyro error (0xF00095)

The internal gyro sensor is sensitive to vibrations.

  • Try restarting system with the engine off

 

Problem solved?


Check the installation of the LCU unit in the boat.

  • It must not sit loose or be mounted on a vibrating thin wall.
  • The sensor is also sensitive to temperature changes. Check that it is not mounted near anything that generates high heat such as an exhaust pipe. In that case, the LCU unit must be relocated.

Accelerometer error (0xF00096)

The internal accelerometer sensor is sensitive to vibrations.

  • Restart system with the engine off

 

Problem solved?


Check the installation of the LCU unit in the boat.

License error (0xF00097)

Problem with the installed license detected.

  • Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
  • Then go to SYSTEM SETUP/LICENSE and press update license
  • Restart system

Sensor orientation missing (0xF00098)

Uninitialized sensor orientation

  • The LCU orientation must be selected to match the actual mounting position relative to the boat
  • Select correct orientation in SYSTEM SETUP/SENSOR SETUP/LCU ORIENTATION. Pictures in the menu will help you out.

Firmware CRC error (0xF00100)

Cannot start firmware.

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Cannot start firmware.

Firmware index error (0xF00102)

Cannot start firmware.

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.

Starboard or Port Servo: Not connected (0xA00X13)

Check if the cable is damaged or if the cable connector is unconnected on LCU to STB Interceptor

Starboard or Port Servo: Voltage low (0xA00X16)

Indicated Servo has stopped. The voltage to the Servo is below 11 Volts.

  • Check the Power supply. Make sure that the system is above 11 Volts
  • If the problem remains, Check the connector on LCU and cable to the indicated Interceptor

Starboard or Port Servo: Voltage high (0xA00X17)

Indicated  Servo has stopped. The voltage to the Servo is above 32 Volts.

  • Check Power supply. Make sure that the system is not over 32 Volts

Starboard or Port Servo: Internal error (0xA00X49 or 0xA00X53)

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Starboard or Port Servo: Motor voltage low (0xA00X50)

The Servo unit has stopped. The servo voltage to the servo unit motor is low. Make sure that the system voltage is above 11 Volts.

Starboard or Port Servo: Motor short to ground (0xA00X51)

Servo unit has stopped. The motor current is high.

Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.

Starboard or Port Servo: Feedback position lost (0xA00X67)

Servo unit has stopped

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.

Starboard or Port Servo: Position out of range (0xA00X68)

Servo unit has stopped. Position outside calibrated range detected.

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.

Ensure system is running software above 2.0.0, press SETTINGS > ADVANCED > SYSTEM INFORMATION > LCU and verify that the software version is above 2.0.0. If it’s not, update the system to reduce the risk of this error happening falsely.

Starboard or Port Servo: Stuck (0xA00X71)

Moving parts stuck due to a mechanical problem. Check Interceptor visually, and restart the system.

Starboard or Port Servo: Motor temperature high (0xA00X74)

WARNING! The Servo unit is hot. Turn off the system and let cool down.

Restart the system when the temperature is normal.

Starboard or Port Servo: Communication Error (0xA00X87)

Check the connector on LCU and the cable from LCU to indicated Interceptor.

If there is cable damage, repair the cable or cable connector with a spare part kit.

Starboard or Port Servo: Communication lost (0xA00X88)

Check the connector on LCU and the cable from LCU to indicated Interceptor.

If there is damage to the cable, contact your local Humphree dealer for a repair kit.

Starboard or Port Servo: Firmware error (0xA00X94)

  • Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
  • Then go to ADVANCED/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press Check for updates
  • If the system finds a new software, first accept the download and then accept the installation

Starboard or Port Servo: No end stop detected (0xA00X95)

Calibrate System

If possible, inspect the movement of the indicated interceptor audiovisually. The motor shall stop turning at the inner and outer position of the interceptor blade. Otherwise some mechanical part is damaged.

Starboard or Port Servo: Short calibration length (0xA00X97)

Servo calibration failed due to short stroke length

  • Check that there are no objects obstructing the interceptor blade.
  • Calibrate system and inspect the movement of the indicated interceptor.
  • The interceptor blade should extend fuilly to 50 mm extention during the calibration

Starboard or Port Servo: Red LED light fault (0xa00XA0)

Starboard or Port Servo: Green LED light fault (0xa00XA1)

Starboard or Port Servo: Blue LED light fault (0xa00XA2)

Starboard or Port Servo: LED temperature high (0xA00X98)

The LEDs are disabled due to high temperature. Restart will be possible when the PCB has cooled down.

Starboard or Port Servo: Missing data (0xA00X89)

Servo connected but some data could not be read correctly.

  • Go to CONNECTIONS/WIFI and connect the system to internet
  • Then go to ADVANCED/SOFTWARE UPDATE and press Check for updates
  • If the system finds a new software, first accept the download and then accept the installation

Starboard or Port Servo: Motor temperature warning (0xA00X79)

The servo motor is running at reduced maximum speed due to high temperature.

Starboard or Port Servo: Calibration error (0xA00X07)

Servo calibration failed due to invalid stroke length or stuck mechanics. See Trouble Shooting – Error Correcting Actions in Operators Manual.

Starboard or Port Servo: Controller error (0xA00X01)

Servo controller state error.

  • Go to ALARMS and press Restart system.
  • Then press the reload button and see if the error reoccures.
