HUMPHREE AND REGAL EXPAND PARTNERSHIP

Lightning interceptors becomes standard on every outboard engine transom at Regal.

After three years of successful collaboration, Regal and Humphree are taking their partnership to the next level. The goal is to install Humphree's Lightning interceptors as standard equipment across Regal's entire outboard engine transom range.

The partnership began with Humphree's Lightning interceptors offered as an option on larger Regal models, giving owners enhanced comfort and improved handling at sea. The market response was overwhelmingly positive, prompting both companies to make the technology available to all Regal buyers. With Lightning interceptors now included as standard, Regal has selected Humphree’s ‘Ultimate' configuration, the most advanced interceptor configuration available. This means the system continuously and proactively monitors pitch, roll, list and turn control, automatically adjusting the boat's trim in real time. The result for boat owners is faster acceleration, better fuel efficiency, superior comfort, and more days on the water.

A strategic move towards a wider market

The agreement marks a significant step for Humphree Lightning, extending its reach into the high-volume segment of smaller powerboats and strengthening its position within a broader and more diverse global market.

"This partnership means we're reaching an even broader share of the powerboat market. Establishing ourselves with a major OEM like Regal can also open doors to other boat manufacturers in this segment, while at the same time improving the boating experience for Regal's customers," says Henrik Hartman, President of Humphree USA.

A scalable and standardized collaboration

Regal is a third-generation family-owned company that has manufactured powerboats since 1969. Key factors behind the expanded partnership, according to Regal, is the ease of installation combined with an unmatched boating experience, Humphree's delivery performance meeting production schedules, together with remote support. As part of the collaboration, Humphree will also train Regal's staff in installation and system configuration to ensure a standardized process. The partnership marks an important milestone for both companies and creates a strong foundation for continued growth in key boating markets worldwide.
