Find the right interceptor

Humphree offers several different models and sizes of Interceptor's to be able to give your vessel the lift it needs to get up on plane faster or to reach the optimal running trim that will save fuel.

X-series, H-series or HE-series

To create lift for the vessel there are two main criteria of the Interceptor, the width and the deployment of the interceptor blade. The Humphree Interceptors comes in different model series and sizes. So that you can find the right one for your vessel and in the right price range. The Humphree Interceptors comes in three different series:

X-series

  • width 300 - 750 mm
  • Deployment 50mm
  • Boat 23-60ft

H-series

  • width 350 - 1500 mm
  • deployment 50mm
  • boat 40 - 150ft

HE-series

  • Width 500 - 1500 mm

  • Boat 50 - 200 ft

Recommended interceptor sizes for semi-planing and planing boats

Humphree recommends using the column “Recommended”. Where space does not permit this size please refer to the description below regarding the limitations of the options. In some cases, the larger interceptor is not required if the boat has a natural “Low” trim mode, which means that a smaller size can be selected.

Wider lifts more

All series, the width of the Interceptor is to be chosen for your vessel to get the lift you want, a wider Interceptor means more lift. Even if the space available on the transom is limited the Humphree Interceptors with 50mm blade deployment will give you enough lift.

You can choose between several different sizes within all Interceptor series. The Humphree interceptors utilise a blade deployment of 50mm for the X-series and the Standard H-series. The HE (Extended) series utilise 75mm blade deployment to give an effective lift to your vessel at all speeds.
